The Back River Restoration Committee is a registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit watershed organization working to restore the tidal portion of the Back River. Thurs far they have removed 300,000 lbs. of trash and 2,100 tires from the river. The organization is not just interested in removing trash, but also helping to educate the public with practical solutions every homeowner can apply to help save the bay in their own neighborhoo.
