On Tuesday, August 23rd, theLoch Raven Marching Raiders are scheduled to play the National Anthem to open that night's minor league game between the Aberdeen Ironbirds and the Connecticut Tigers. This is a Class A Short Season game, and these games are always fun to watch. Ripken Stadium is in the image of Camden Yards, with a very Minor League feel. You'll come away feeling refreshed, and knowing that that summertime game of baseball has a good home in Aberdeen, not to mention that the Loch Raven Marching Raiders are one terrific marching band!!!!
Please come and cheer on your local high school marching band. This is the first time they've played to open any game other than a Loch Raven HS football game at home!
