Frugal Family: Father's Day Edition, Part I

With Father's Day less than two weeks away, here's a compilation of deals dedicated to dad. From restaurants to gifts and even some freebies, there's something in the mix for every man of the house. Next week, we'll bring you part II of Frugal Family's Father's Day edition, as restaurants and retailers typically offer more specials closer to the actual date.

• Visit Masonville Cove's "urban wilderness conservation area" in Baltimore this Saturday, June 11 for Father's Day Fun Day. Bond with dad as you visit with animals and make him a gift. Refreshments and take-home craft provided.
• Fathers who are nature lovers will also enjoy Ladew Gardens' Father's Day event on June 19. The park is offering a FREE treat for all dads while supplies last. For an additional $5 over regular admission, stay through the evening for an outdoor concert with The Crawdaddies.
