Fullerton Sports Shop Gets New Storefront
Wild Bill's, a well-known Ravens and Orioles gear shop that used to operate on the east side of Belair Road, is moving into the old Fisherman's Wharf building.

Early in March Patch highlighted the old Fisherman's Wharf building at the corner of Rossville Boulevard and Belair Road in our weekly Visions for Vacancies column. Driving by the location Thursday morning, this local editor noticed (and is happy to report) a new tenant for the building.
Wild Bill's Apparel, a locally-owned Baltimore sports shop, recently signed a lease with the building owner and renovations are underway. Lisa Blimline, who owns the shop with her husband "Wild" Bill Walters, was working outside and was happy to share the details of the move.
Blimline said that the brick-and-mortar location for the fan shop that had operated out of tents in a parking lot across Belair Road since 2006 should be ready to open by mid-July, just in time for Ravens training camp.

"We've still got a lot of work to do cleaning up inside and out," Blimline said.
She explained her plans for the concrete vestibule of the shop included a pair of glowing Ravens eyes and possibly a mural—one side a gate from Camden Yards and the other side a gate from M&T Bank stadium—as part of the entryway.

Additionally, Blimline said that there are improvements planned to the parking lot at the business.
"Since I live right up the street, I'm glad to be in this location just so that I can clean it up," Blimline said.
As a bonus it will give Ravens fans and potential customers a place to flock.
"Ever since the signs went up in the windows we've had people honking and shouting to us, and even stopping by," she said.
In the meantime, Blimline said that fans looking for Orioles or Ravens gear can find the couple selling t-shirts and other memorabilia outside Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium during Orioles games.
"Hopefully people will come see us and buy shirts so we have plenty of money to complete this renovation," Blimline said.
