George's to Reopen in Early May
George's Farm Market, a long time staple of the Harford Road business community, will reopen the first weekend in May.
For those of us who have come to rely on George's Farm Market as a source for fresh, local produce there's some good news: the shop will be open again beginning May 4.
As I drove by today, I noted that signs in the windows had been posted in the windows advertising the first day of business—a sure sign that this spring is moving right along.
The market offered fresh flowers back on Easter weekend and, according to flyers posted on the doors, you'll be able to head to the farm at 11031 Factory Road in Glen Arm weekends beginning April 28 to check out the greenhouses where you'll find flowers, herbs and vegetable plants.
