Belair Road Fire Declared Under Control: Officials

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Firefighters worked for more than an hour to control a fire Friday afternoon on Belair Road. The call in the 6900 block of Belair Road was dispatched at 2:09 p.m., officials said, and both Baltimore City and Baltimore County firefighters helped fight the blaze.

While initially fire officials reported that someone was trapped, they later stated that nobody required rescue. After 2:30 p.m., crews were evacuated from the building due to evolving fire conditions.

By 3:45 p.m., officials said the fire had been declared under control.
