Local Family Helps Individuals with Disabilities and Complex Medical Needs

Five years ago, Jill O’Neill wanted to teach her children about giving to those in need. Her family held a doughnut fundraiser and raised $126 for a man who was recently widowed and his two younger children. Each November, Jill’s family picks an organization. This year all money raised from the doughnut fundraiser goes to The Coordinating Center’s Family Resource Fund, which helps families with disabilities and complex medical needs. The doughnut sale is Nov. 22 at 34 Tommytrue Court, Parkville, 21234 from 8:30 am-noon. Stop by for a doughnut and to help the family achieve their goal of raising $2,000 for the Family Resource Fund.
