NASA and Honeywell Bring Interactive Physics to Pine Grove Middle
The program, called FMA live, taught students about Isaac Newton's laws of motion through games, song and dance.
Math and science at got a lot more exciting Monday afternoon as NASA and Honeywell's FMA Live program rolled into the school.
Students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades were treated to an interactive presentation about Isaac Newton's laws of motion, including live demonstrations using students, song and dance to entice them to take a greater interest in math and science.
Pine Grove teacher Sarah Rawlerson applied to have the presentation come to town almost two years ago after she saw an opportunity on the program website.

"I use the Honeywell and NASA website for the classroom curriculum and a thing on the site kept popping up to have them possibly come — it took two years, but last spring got an email," Rawlerson said.
