None Injured In Avondale Road Fire
Two occupants had to be evacuated from the burning home.
Three people were left homeless after a fire destroyed a Parkville home Tuesday morning.
Firefighters responded to a single-alarm blaze in the 9200 block of Avondale Road shortly before 9 a.m. and took about 20 minutes to get it under control.
A woman in her 20s and a man in his 70s who live in the rental home were able to safely leave the house after the fire began, according to Baltimore County Fire Battalion Chief Bruce Kesting.

Another woman who lives in the home was not present at the time the fire began.
The man was transported to Franklin Square Hospital for treatment of a pre-existing condition. No one was injured as a result of the fire.

The fire began in the ceiling of the home between the dining room and the upstairs and spread behind the walls of the home, Kesting said.
"The walls had to be removed in order to fight the fire, which was made worse by high winds," Kesting said. "It presented a few special challenges."
"It's completely uninhabitable," he said.
Fire investigators ruled the fire was accidental and said it was caused by an electrical issue.
