Pappas Is the Place to Be for Mother's Day

Parkville-Overlea has spoken: is the place to be this Mother's Day.

The good news is that they'll be serving a special dinner menu all day that includes both single and double orders of their famous crabcakes.

In addition, they'll have rockfish, stuffed orange roughy, stuffed shrimp, three kinds of steak (filet mignon, NY strip and porterhouse), chicken Chesapeake and fried oysters. And for the dessert-oriented mom, try a cheesecake or the special Mother's Day strawberry tort.

The bad news? Pappas is completely booked for Sunday so if you didn't already have a reservation it's a bit too late; however, they're referring new tables to their Glen Burnie location on Ritchie Highway.

"Winning Readers' Choice was certainly a pleasant surprise," Pappas manager Jeanie Shaw said.
