Parkville/Carney Crime: Laptops Stolen from Home

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Wycliffe Road, 1800 block. Between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Jan 20. Two Dell laptop computers, one with an orange paisley pattern and one navy blue, were stolen from a home. The total loss value is estimated around $1,600. Burglars threw a rock through a window on the front door to get inside.

Acton Road, 3400 block. Between 6 p.m. Jan. 19 and 7:25 a.m. Jan. 20. The gate to a fenced-in yard was damaged during an attempted burglary. A burglar entered the yard, then lifted a window screen to try and access the home, but was unable to get inside.

Upridge Court, 2800 block. Between 8 p.m. Jan. 18 and 12 p.m. Jan 20.  Screws were removed from the hinges of the door to a storage unit in an apartment complex, but nothing was reported stolen.
