Parkville High Comes Up Big Against Randallstown

The Knights shut out the Rams under the Friday night lights.

Parkville's own Knights are off to a solid start in the 2011-2012 football season, defeating Randallstown 38-0 in their opening contest.

The game, held at Parkville's Yates Field, showcased the Knights' skills on both sides of the ball.

Quarterback Andy Madore was named the Army offensive player of the game after he completed 10 passes for a total of 134 yards, including two touchdown tosses to wide receiver Nolin Shacklett.

Army defensive player of the game Otis Pullen snagged a ball thrown by the Randallstown QB and returned it for a touchdown.

The Knights also had just three penalties for a total of 15 yards, while the Rams lost more than a field's worth of yardage (144 yards) over 15 penalties.

Parkville will take the field against the Generals at Towson High School at 1 p.m. Sept. 10.
