Parkville Musician's Song For Perry Hall Shooting Victim

Greg Wimmer, a Parkvillian who goes by 'yourpianoplayer' on YouTube, recently uploaded this video of a song he wrong for 17-year-old Daniel Borowy.

After 17-year-old Daniel Borowy was shot during lunch at Perry Hall High School, a Parkville musician wrote a song for the injured teen that's been making the rounds on social media.

The Baltimore Sun reports that Greg Wimmer, 31, felt like he needed to help when he learned of the shooting.

"Everyone in the community, they just want to do something to help, and I kept asking myself 'What can I do?'" he told the Sun. "I thought, there's probably nothing I could do to make a difference, but something told me to write a song."

Daniel I don't know you, but I feel like I do
That Monday morning nightmare was so unfair to you
We know you're in pain, and you'll be back again
Oh Daniel, we pray...

Borowy, who has been hospitalized in critical condition since the shooting last Monday, is expected to recover.
