Person Killed In Barricade Situation: Baltimore County Police
A person in crisis shot himself and another person, who died, police said.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A person was killed Saturday during a barricade in the Parkville area, according to police.
Officers responded around 7 p.m. to Bayberry Court for a report of a person in crisis and declared a barricade upon arrival, police said. Following the barricade’s resolution, officers determined the person in crisis had shot himself and someone else in the home, according to police, who said the person who he shot was pronounced dead at the scene.
The person in crisis was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said, adding the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit is investigating.
