Police ID Man Killed in Parkville Vehicle Fire
Firefighters found a man's body after putting out minivan blaze last week near Perring Parkway, officials reported.

PARKVILLE, MD — Authorities have identified the man killed in a car fire in Parkville last week.
Lewis Purvin Courts, 73, of the 1700 block of Hartsdale Road, died after fire overtook his 2004 Dodge Caravan, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
The fire occurred on Thursday, Nov. 10, about 2 miles from Courts' home.

Officials said they responded to the 2300 block of Cleanleigh Drive after 1:30 p.m. that day for a vehicle fire and after extinguishing the blaze, firefighters found the man's body.
Criminal activity is not suspected, according to police, who said Tuesday the fire remains under investigation.
