Police: Robber Threatens Pharmacy, Steals Drugs

The robber implied he had a grenade.

Police are investigating a robbery of the Walgreens on Old Harford Road in Parkville.

At about 11:45 p.m. on July 10, a man approached the store's pharmacy counter and passed a handwritten note to the pharmacist, demanding prescription drugs. The man then "implied that he had a grenade," according to the police report.

The robber stole three bottles of oxycodone, containing 100 pills each, valued at more than $230, according to the police report.

Police described the man as a white male, 5-foot-9, about 170 pounds and wearing black cargo pants, a black shirt, a black knit cap with a logo and a white bandage on his face.
