Residential Counselor at Parkville Group Home Charged with Abuse, Sex Offenses
The incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Special Victims Unit.

The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following report.
Baltimore County Police have charged a man in connection with the abuse of two vulnerable adults in a group home in the 4100 Block of Taylor Avenue in Parkville.
Police learned about the allegations of abuse on Sept. 23 and began an investigation.

The investigation has indicated that the suspect, a residential counselor at the facility, had abused two adult male residents that were in his care. The abuse occurred over the previous several months and involved sexual acts.
The suspect has been identified as 63-year-old Gary Lee Toft, of the 1200 Block of Frailey Way in Baltimore. He has been charged with vulnerable adult abuse, perverted practice, and numerous sex offenses.

Toft is currently being held at the Central Booking and Intake Facility in Baltimore City because of previous charges made by Baltimore City Police detectives. He has been given $350,000 bail for the Baltimore County case.
This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Special Victims Unit. Anyone with information on this incident or other incidents involving Gary Lee Toft is asked to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020.
