The Cheapest Gas in Town

After an OPEC meeting late last week where members of the oil cartel couldn't decide on whether or not to increase petroleum production, the price of gas has been climbing after a brief break late in May.

For comparison, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded in our area is up two cents from last week according to a survey by AAA.

The average cost to fill a vehicle with a 15-gallon tank has dropped a fraction of a dollar from $55.88 last week to $55.45, still considerably higher than the $44.84 you might have paid just six months ago.

The lowest price for a gallon of regular unleaded in the area is $3.63.
