The area average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is now $3.388, compared to $3.281 two weeks ago.

The lowest price for a gallon of regular unleaded in the area is $3.319—significantly cheaper than the average.

Six months ago, you would have paid more to fuel up, at an average cost of $3.85 per gallon for regular unleaded; last year you might have paid just $2.77.
