Travel Holiday Bumps Up Prices at Pump
After seeing a decline for nearly three straight months, prices at the gas pump are up 4 cents on average in the Baltimore metro.
Gas prices in the Baltimore metro jumped 4 cents over the course of the last week as millions of Americans travelled for the 4th of July holiday.
AAA reports that gas prices are up just a penny on average nationwide, but here at home prices increased about 4 cents.
In the Baltimore metropolitan area, AAA reports the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded rose to $3.34 on Friday, representing a 4-cent increase from a week ago, but a 21-cent decrease over last year.
