Police ask citizens not to approach the suspected turtle slayer, as he is considered dangerous.

PARKVILLE, MD — Police allege one of two men who burglarized a home in Baltimore County violently killed one of the resident's pets before leaving.

Donatella the turtle had been in her aquarium when a burglar took her out of her home and impaled her with a knife sharpener, according to police.

When the resident returned from being gone overnight, officials said she found Donatella deceased on the floor and her residence ransacked.
