Vietnamese Restaurant Coming to Carney

A new tenant is moving into Carney Village Shopping Center and bringing with it Vietnamese flavor.

Pho Thanh Cong, a Vietnamese restaurant specializing in the noodle soup dish called pho, will occupy the space next to Mars that was . The door to the restaurant is currently covered in Baltimore County permits and a sign hangs in the window with a simple message: "Pho Thanh Cong Vietnamese Restaurant Coming Soon."

How soon? We're not sure.

A spokesperson for Continental Realty, the company that manages the shopping center and its tenants, was not immediately available for comment.
