Water Main Break On Kenwood Avenue Reported

BREAKING: Drivers may want to avoid this stretch of Kenwood Avenue.

OVERLEA, MD — A broken water main has been reported Friday morning near Overlea High School. There are 21 water customers and one hydrant out of commission, Baltimore County government officials reported before 7:30 a.m.

The water main that broke is 6 inches in diameter, officials said. It is located at 5218 Kenwood Avenue. Repairs are pending, according to county officials.

Fox 45's Traffic Jam Jimmy was at the scene, where water had frozen over part of Kenwood Avenue, which was closed near East Avenue as of 8:30 a.m.
