11-Year-Old Injured In Domestic Assault In Nottingham: Police
A domestic assault in Nottingham sent a boy and officer to area hospitals, police said, while a parent was arrested.

NOTTINGHAM, MD — A boy and a police officer are hospitalized following a domestic-related assault in Nottingham Tuesday morning, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Police said the father hit his 11-year-old child then fought with officers responding to the assault in the 4200 block of Maple Path Circle shortly before 10:30 a.m.
The 11-year-old had gone to his neighbor's house for help after his dad hit him with an object that caused a puncture wound in his upper body, according to authorities. The boy was taken to an area hospital, where officials said his condition was unknown.

When officers tried to arrest the father, he fought with them, causing an injury that was not believed to be life-threatening to one of them, according to police.
The identity of the father is being withheld pending charges, authorities reported.
