2 Arrested in 'Ramp Scam' in Baltimore County, Maryland State Police Say
Police ask drivers not to get sucked into a scam on highway exit ramps that has been reported in six counties, including Baltimore.

Authorities are asking drivers to resist the urge to help disabled motorists on highway exit ramps after scores of "ramp scams" have been reported around the state, including in Baltimore County, where police said two men were arrested over the weekend on a ramp off Interstate 95.
In the scams, suspects pretend their vehicles are disabled, flag down passing drivers, ask for money and in exchange, the suspects may sometimes give the drivers fake jewelry, police reported.
Crashes and major traffic delays have occurred as a result of these interactions, according to officials.
