Pedestrian Killed In Philadelphia Road Crash: Police
BREAKING: Authorities said that one person died in a crash Friday morning off Philadelphia Road in Baltimore County.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A man who was outside his car on the shoulder of Philadelphia Road early Friday morning was hit and killed, according to the Baltimore County Police Department. The driver involved in the crash has not been identified.
Christopher Allen Curtis, 21, of the 8500 block of Upton Circle, was pronounced deceased at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police reported Friday morning.
Curtis had been standing outside his silver Mazda 6 on Philadelphia Road at Mayflower Road when he was hit by a maroon Honda Accord around 2:18 a.m., police reported.

For reasons that have not been established, officials said the Honda Accord was headed north on Philadelphia Road when it veered across traffic and hit the Mazda and Curtis.
According to police, the driver of the Honda was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Curtis was taken to shock trauma, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Baltimore County Police Department's crash team is investigating what caused the fatal crash.
