2 Perry Hall Area Men Arrested for Allegedly Soliciting
A Nottingham man and Perry Hall man were busted after responding to online ad, Howard County police said.

JESSUP, MD — Men from Perry Hall and Nottingham were arrested in a "reverse prostitution sting" in Howard County this week, police said.
The sting took place in the 8100 block of Washington Boulevard in Jessup, where 10 men showed up Monday after reading an ad that police had placed on Backpage.com (a website often used in the sex business) and calling a phone number from the online ad.

The men had spoken with female officers and asked to meet. When they arrived at a hotel specified over the phone, members of the Howard County Police Department were waiting and placed the following men under arrest for solicitation of prostitution:
- Garland D. Hodges, 51, Nottingham
- Osman P. Akcam, 53, Perry Hall
- Douglas Dixon, 30, Prince Frederick
- Juan P. Rodriguez, 30, Beltsville
- Jacob L. Cramer, 34, Huntingtown
- Cesar A. Angel-Sermeno, 32, Columb
- Cuong T. Le, 22, Jessup
- John C. Organ, 27, Silver Spring
- Drew T. Kramer, 25, Baltimore
Court records show the arrests occurred on Monday, Sept. 12.

The Howard County Police Department regularly posts ads on Backpage alerting potential clients and victims the authorities are monitoring the site and offering support for those in need.
