2 Perry Hall Runners Finish Boston Marathon

PERRY HALL, MD — Thousands of runners completed the Boston Marathon, the nation's largest running event, and among them were two people from Perry Hall. One of the Perry Hall runners was among the first 200 people to finish the race.

Nicholas Klastava, 35, of Perry Hall, finished with a time of 2:39:19. He placed 171 overall; 151 by gender; and 129 by division.

Sandi Simon, 50, of Perry Hall, finished with a time of 4:06:28. She placed 16,997 overall; 6,686 by gender; and 514 by division.

Two women from White Marsh also completed the marathon.

Megan Digregorio, 28, finished with a time of 3:32:03. She placed 7,574 overall; 1,693 by gender; and 1,340 overall.

Justine Digregorio, 26, finished with a time of 3:36:58. She placed 8,907 overall; 2320 by gender; and 1,752 by division.

A total of 30,074 people entered Monday's marathon. There were 409 from Maryland.
