The first two burglaries occurred in the same block on the same day.

The suspect told the woman he was there to repair the door, and when she said there was nothing wrong with it, he ran away, according to the report.

Once the man left, the victim found that there now was damage to the door, and her bedroom had been ransacked and jewelry taken, according to the report.

Police responded to a second burglary call in the same block before 3:30 p.m., officials reported. In that case, a resident said a burglar entered through the back door and took money between 10:15 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sept. 5.

In the third burglary, the door to a home was damaged in the 4800 block of King Avenue, according to police.

Officers responded to the residence after 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, where they were informed someone had entered the vestibule between a home and garage, then run from the scene, police reported. The door to the home was damaged, according to the report.
