7 Hospitalized From Crash On I-95 South: Baltimore County Fire
I-95 south was shut down following a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday night involving a tractor-trailer.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Seven people were taken to area hospitals following a crash on Interstate 95 in Baltimore County Tuesday night, officials said. The collision crash happened on I-95 in the northeastern part of the county between I-695 and I-895.
All lanes of I-95 south were shut down after the crash, which occurred before 9 p.m. in the area of mile marker 61.95, transportation officials reported.
A tractor-trailer and other vehicles were involved, the Baltimore County Fire Department reported.

Four children and three adults were hospitalized, according to Division Chief Jay Ringgold. He said they were taken to trauma centers in serious condition.
Initially, five medics were called to the scene, officials said before 9:20 p.m.

As of 9:50 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported all lanes were closed on I-95 south past MD 43/White Marsh Boulevard, except for the express toll lanes.
