ALDI is Coming to Perry Hall: Councilman Marks
Two areas on Belair Road are getting updates, councilman reports.
Baltimore County Councilman David Marks, who represents Perry Hall, has championed redevelopment in the area for years, and now progress is kicking into high gear.
Marks said that Perry Hall Crossing is preparing for an upcoming renovation, which will include the addition of a new tenant.

As part of its update, the shopping center will welcome ALDI supermarket, according to Marks.
In addition, the wheels have begun turning at a site Marks previously said was an “eyesore” at the gateway to Perry Hall.

“I am very happy to report that redevelopment has started at 8833 Belair Road, the derelict site south of the former First Mariner Bank site in Perry Hall,” Marks said Monday.
Redevelopment plans include brick architecture, landscaping and a “Welcome to Perry Hall” sign, Marks said.
The building had been vacant for more than a year when in 2014, he issued a call for progress after the project stalled in the county’s permitting and review process.
