BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Baltimore County, according to authorities.
Around 10:15 a.m. Friday, Baltimore County police officers were called to the 9000 block of Tammy Road, where they found two older adults dead inside the home.
"Based on the information available at this time, it is believed this matter is a domestic-related murder-suicide," police said in a statement. "Additional information will be provided once next of kin has been notified."
Police said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
Baltimore County Councilman David Marks also released a statement following the tragic discovery.
"Words can be difficult in times like this," Marks said. "We pray for all those affected and thank the Baltimore County Police Department for its investigation, support, and communication."
