85-Year-Old Man Dies After U-Turn Crash On Pulaski Highway: Police

An investigation is underway after an 85-year-old man died from injuries suffered in a U-turn crash that occurred on Pulaski Highway.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — An 85-year-old man died Saturday after suffering serious injuries in a crash that took place on Pulaski Highway.

A release issued by the Baltimore County Police Department identified the man as Karl Pfrommer.

Authorities said Pfrommer was driving a 2017 Subaru Outback when he was struck by a 2016 Honda Odyssey on Friday.

The incident occurred in the area of Pulaski Highway and Born Lane.

At the time, Pfrommer was attempting to make a U-turn from the westbound lanes of Pulaski Highway, according to police. The Honda was traveling on the eastbound lanes.

The Honda driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The extent of their injuries was not detailed.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
