BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Officers with the Baltimore County Police Department uncovered human remains Friday morning just off a Beltway interchange.
Authorities with the Parkville Precinct were called to an area near state Route 702 and Interstate 695 around 11:30 a.m. for reports of human remains.
A Baltimore County officer told WBAL that the remains had been found in the water, describing them as "badly decomposed."
No additional details about the incident have been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
