• Baltimore County DPWT to host second annual Great Pumpkin Smash in Perry Hall (nottinghammd.com) — Perry Hall families can bring their leftover Halloween pumpkins to Honeygo Run Regional Park on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to smash and compost them. Baltimore County DPWT will provide tools, games, snacks, and giveaways while turning the gourds into compost for county landscaping projects.
   

• Aug. 31 Police Blotter: Two burglaries, multiple assaults, and a robbery reported in northeast Baltimore County (nottinghammd.com) — Perry Hall residents should know police are investigating a reported intentional vehicle ramming on the 9300 block of Georgia Belle Drive late Tuesday, Aug. 25. The broader blotter details recent assaults, robberies, and burglaries in nearby Essex, Rosedale, Parkville, Middle River, and White Marsh, with several suspects arrested and other cases still under investigation.
