MIDDLE RIVER, MD — The winnings of a million-dollar Powerball ticket remain unclaimed days after being sold at a Middle River convenience store.
Maryland Lottery said in a release that a Powerball ticket worth $1 million was bought Saturday at a Royal Farms at 12545 Eastern Ave.
As of Monday, the ticket remains unclaimed.
Organizers say the biggest win was clinched through a Fast Play ticket sold at Bakers Liquors in Queen Anne's County. The ticket was sold Oct. 15 in Chester.
The progressive jackpot came to more than $1.4 million. However, just like the Powerball ticket, the Fast Play winnings also remain unclaimed.
The winners of the golden tickets get a total of 182 days — nearly 6 months — from the drawing date to collect their newfound riches.
The Powerball jackpot was estimated at $607 million for Monday's drawing, with a cash value set for more than $255 million.
