AT&T Boosts Coverage by White Marsh Mall

Today, AT&T announces a new 4G LTE-equipped cell site near White Marsh Mall.

What does this mean? Residents, businesses and shoppers can expect faster, improved service. Over the past few months, we’ve enhanced coverage in Baltimore by activating several new cell sites along I-83. For example, in April, we announced similar enhancements off West Timonium Road. Doing this alleviates existing cell sites to create a more robust network.

This is part of a larger effort to enhance AT&T’s network in Maryland. From 2011 through 2013, AT&T invested more than $600M in its Maryland wireless and wireline networks, including more than $375M in Baltimore alone.
