The Avenue at White Marsh Announces 2014 Holiday Parade
Local officials, marching bands, mascots, shopping specials and more are on tap.

Get in the spirit with marching bands, mascots, dance troupes and local officials at the sixteenth annual White Marsh Holiday Parade.

Most spectators start arriving at 8:30 a.m., in advance of the 10 a.m. start, and they can bring chairs and blankets, The Ave Blog reports. Before the parade begins, the Oriole bird and Poe the Raven will visit with attendees, according to Geiger.
Starbucks, Barnes & Noble and Slice will be open early, while Della Rose’s and Red Brick Station will serve breakfast outside. Several stores will welcome shoppers before the parade too.

There’s a 100-percent chance of rain in the forecast for Perry Hall on Saturday, but that’s no matter—the White Marsh Holiday Parade is a rain-or-shine event. The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 8125 Honeygo Boulevard.
