Baby carrier found in road on Route 43 eastbound

I was traveling on Route 43 eastbound approaching Perry Hall Blvd around 2:30pm today and and passed a baby carrier in the middle of the road on the center line. I turned around at the light, came back, walked out and pulled it onto the median strip. There was no baby in it but there was a baby blanket and toy. I called the police to report it and started looking in the woods on the other side of the road for a baby. A police officer stopped. He called for backup to help search the woods. I asked to help but for liability reasons I couldn't, he told me. Officers searched the woods and the surrounding area up to where Route 43 runs into 695. A helicopter also circled for awhile. No baby was found. If anyone has any information about a missing baby, a baby carrier, please contact Baltimore County police.
