Baltimore County Under Severe Thunderstorm Watch
Flash flooding, hail, strong winds are possible, according to National Weather Service.

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until midnight for Baltimore, Harford, Prince Georgeโs and Anne Arundel counties plus Baltimore City.
The National Weather Service reports that damaging wind gusts and large hail are possible threats, and thunderstorms could create flash floods.

Quarter-size hail and damaging winds above 60 mph are possible, according to the National Weather Service.
The storms were spotted on a line from New Freedom, Pa., to Owings Mills to 7 miles south of Sykesville at approximately 7:30 p.m., according to the weather service. They were moving east at 25 mph.

Baltimore and Harford counties as well as Baltimore City were included in the warning.
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for those areas until midnight.
In addition, the National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for much of the state, including Baltimore County.
The watch is in effect until 8 p.m. on Monday, June 8.
A tornado watch means severe thunderstorms and tornadoes are possible.
Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Charles, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery and Prince Georgeโs counties are included in the watch area.
Baltimore City, the District of Columbia and parts of Virginia are also under the watch.
