Baltimore Crossroads to Host Perry Hall/White Marsh Town Fair
The town fair is expected to move to a mixed-use business center in Middle River.

The 16th annual summer fair is scheduled for July 14, according to Lynn Richardson, president of the , which organizes and sponsors the fair.
"We're looking at this as a very positive thing. The only downside is that it's not in a [Perry Hall or White Marsh] zip code. Now it's become a little more of a regional fair, rather than just a local fair," Richardson told Patch.

Al Cunniff, director of marketing for the center's management company St. John Properties, could not confirm plans for the fair when contacted by Patch on Wednesday.
The 2010 and were held at in Perry Hall. While last year's fair brought record-breaking attendance, estimated at more than 13,000, it also caused and led to with some shopping center tenants.
Richardson that fair planners were seeking a new location.
Some community members had lobbied for the fair to to its former location on the grounds of , where it had been ousted in 2009 with the enforcement of a controversial . But even with a , the school was still unwilling to host the fair, Richardson said.
"I've been fighting this battle for the last six years, and it's not like we haven't made an attempt to make it work somewhere else," she said.
She said the fair's new location has the support of major sponsors, including the and the .
Vendor and sponsor applications will be available on the fair website after Feb. 1.
Baltimore Crossroads @95, with its extensive on-site parking and other accommodations, could provide a long-term site for the fair, Richardson said.
"I would like to finally find the town fair a truly permanent home," she said.
