'Big House-Shaking Boom' In Perry Hall
"Anyone know what that might have been?" a Perry Hall Patch reader said of Wednesday's boom. "Or was God just trying to get my attention?"
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — After a "big boom sound" was heard around eastern Baltimore County, emergency personnel said they received calls and emails asking about the cause.
"The noise originated from APG (Aberdeen Proving Ground)," the Baltimore County Police Department reported after 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
Aberdeen Proving Ground is conducting daytime and nighttime firing from 7 a.m. to midnight, which could result in noise off the military installation, according to a statement from APG.
