BREAKING: All Lanes of I-695 to Close at I-95 Overnight

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The inner loop of the Baltimore beltway/Interstate 695 east will be closed in the area of I-95 overnight for road re-striping, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

The closure will be in effect from 10 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 3, to 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, weather permitting.

Traffic will be detoured as follows, transportation officials said:

• From I-695 east to I-95 north
• I-95 north to MD 43 east/White Marsh Boulevard
• MD 43 east to MD 7 east
• MD 7 east to MD 43 west
• MD 43 west to I-95 south
• I-95 south to I-695 east

The closure of all lanes of I-695 east at the exit for I-95 will allow for crews to re-stripe the road, which is part of the Maryland Transportation Authority’s I-95 Improvement Project with Express Toll Lanes.
