You're invited to an afternoon of engaging conversation about two topics that affect all of us: Maryland's budget and taxes, and how we can have more productive conversations about voting and civic engagement.

We'll hear from two outstanding speakers who bring different perspectives and areas of expertise:

Kali Schumitz, Vice President of External Relations for the Maryland Center on Economic Policy and a member of the Fair Share Maryland leadership team, will discuss Maryland's current budget challenges, tax policy, and how budget decisions affect the public services we all rely on.

Toby Bray, an experienced Communications Strategist, will explore why many political messages unintentionally push people away and share practical ideas for having more productive conversations about voting and civic engagement—especially with younger voters.
