PHOTOS: Carnival Comes to White Marsh Mall

Why come to the ? Manager John Young said it boils down to three reasons: "To ride the rides, look at the lights and eat the food."

Hosted by Dreamland Amusements, the traveling carnival will remain outside of White Marsh Mall until April 17.

"It reminds me of being a little kid," said Brianna Brecht, 21, of Edgewood.

Brecht said her friend, 23-year-old Crystal Mackert, persuaded her to attend, in spite of Wednesday's drizzling skies.

"I just like the carnival—the food, the rides," said Mackert.

The carnival's hours are 5-10 p.m. on weekdays and noon-11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Gate admission is $2. Tickets for games and rides cost $1 each, $40 for 50 tickets, or $25 for an unlimited wrist band.
