Child Injured In Crash Near White Marsh: Officials

Officials said a child was thrown from a vehicle near White Marsh Boulevard.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A child was injured in a crash near White Marsh midday Wednesday, according to fire officials. Traffic was impacted on MD 43/White Marsh Boulevard for about two hours, transportation authorities reported.

Officials said a medic was called to White Marsh Boulevard at Walther Boulevard at 11:36 a.m. after a crash ejected a young person. The victim was critically injured, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash, state transportation officials said.

White Marsh Boulevard was closed eastbound at Walther Boulevard during the response. By 1:40 p.m., officials said all lanes had reopened and the incident had cleared.
