Chris Davis Helps Lift Truck Off of Pinned Motorist

Suspended Orioles slugger waved others over to help him move the truck off victim, according to reports.

Chris Davis, the Orioles star suspended last week for 25 games, reportedly helped lift a truck off of a pinned motorist on Interstate 295 on Monday, according to ESPN.

Another person helping to lift the car off the victim spoke with masnsports.com: “We glanced at each other with a ‘good job’ look and I said, ‘Chris?’ He said, ‘Yeah?’ ‘Chris Davis?’ ‘Yeah?’ I said, ‘One hell of a way to meet Chris Davis.’”

CBS Sports writer Mike Axisa referenced Davis’ notable size in a post on the incident. “Having stood next to Davis, I’m surprised he was unable to flip the overturned truck himself,” he wrote. “One-handed, while pumping iron with the other hand.”
