Church Seeks Permit to Discharge into Little Gunpowder Falls
Mountain Christian Church is seeking a permit to discharge up to 5,000 gallons of treated wastewater every day.

Mountain Christian Church, located at 1824 Mountain Road in Joppa, is seeking a permit to discharge up to 5,000 gallons of treated wastewater per day into a tributary that flows and enters into the Little Gunpowder Falls at the Jericho Covered Bridge.
The Maryland Department of the Environment will conduct a meeting on Tuesday July 2, 2019 from 1:30-2:30 PM at the Harford County Public Library in Joppa (655 Towne Center Drive, Joppa, MD 21085).

I am very concerned about this proposal. Never once did I get an email or phone call about this plan. Regrettably, like development, it's another example of Harford County's policies affecting northeastern Baltimore County.
