Cowenton Avenue Robbery Victim Thrown to Ground: Perry Hall Crime
Burglars also broke into two businesses this week in the area, Baltimore County police said.

The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents:
Two strangers robbed a man in the the 8900 block of Cowenton Avenue at 9:45 a.m. on Dec. 5. The duo threw the victim to the ground and stole his cash and casino chips, among other items.
Money was stolen from The Yummery during a break-in on Dec. 2. Police said that sometime between 5:56 and 6:06 a.m., someone pried open a rear door to the cake shop in the 11500 block of Philadelphia Road. Once inside, the suspect took money out of the register, then ran away.

There was an attempted burglary in the 11400 block of Smiloff Road at 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 2. The suspect opened a window that was unlocked but left instead of going inside.
Cash was stolen from Sherwin Williams in the 8600 block of Belair Road. A stranger used force to get into the store in the burglary, which occurred sometime between 7 p.m. on Nov. 30 and 6:38 a.m. on Dec. 1.
