Create a gift of love & Stuff A Stocking for a child in need at THE AVENUE at White Marsh

Stuff A Stocking

Remember the thrill of your very own Christmas stocking? Help us make those memories for childen in need in our community.

We’re partnering with The Salvation Army to brighten the holidays for children in need and we’re asking for your help. Join our STUFF A STOCKING program and THE AVENUE at White Marsh will see that a stocking you lovingly prepare goes to a deserving child in plenty of time for Christmas morning.

Here’s how you can participate:

CHOOSE A CHILD. Decide whether you want to give to a boy or girl, then select any age from newborn to 12 years and up.

GRAB A STOCKING. Buy one at the store, or pick up one we’ll be giving away at Old Navy or Crazy 8 at THE AVENUE. Make sure it’ll hold lots of fun stuff!

FILL ‘ER UP! Start stuffing it with the items you know will put a smile on a child’s face. Need some ideas? Check out a suggestion list The Salvation Army has prepared with items you can be sure will be age-appropriate.

DROP IT OFF. Print out a label that lets us know the age and gender of the child you’ve created your stocking for, or make your own. Then pin it to your stocking and bring it to either Old Navy or Crazy 8 at THE AVENUE Monday through Saturday between 10am and 9pm, or Sunday between 11am and 6pm. Your stocking may also be dropped off at Salvation Army locations on weekdays between 9am and 5pm.

The only thing we ask is that you don’t include candy or perishable items. Other than that, have fun playing Santa!

In order to make sure your Christmas stocking finds a home in time for Christmas, it must be dropped off by December 14th. The Salvation Army will see that your lucky boy or girl receives it.

ENJOY A SAFE AND HAPPY SEASON OF GIVING. There’s no better feeling than knowing you’ve done something that will bring someone happiness. Share the magic... and THANK YOU.
